We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join around 22/06/2026 for approximately a 3 months period.

Tasks and responsibilities:

● Coordinate maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment;
● Administration of planned maintenance;
● Update electrical drawings when required;
● Communicate and liaise with other departments;
● Perform duties as indicated on muster list and perform ship security duties;
● Promote safety by coaching toolbox and correct use of Permit to work system;
● Ensure correct work procedures;
● Conduct all activities and tasks in accordance with the Company's objectives and policies;
● Familiarise with and comply with Company's Management System;
● Promote a safe and healthy working environment within the company;
● Ensure all personal documentation, such as passport, seaman’s book, medical certificate and safety(STCW) training certificates, is kept up-to-date, valid and will be hand carried on board in original;
● Is familiar with the stop the job authority on any activity if safety, health or environment are at risk and support anyone who has raised a stop the job and informs to the manager immediately;
● Profound knowledge of the electrical systems on board.

Qualifications and experience
● Certified and trained Electrical Engineer;
● Fluent verbal/written English;
●Computer literate;
● Experience with electrical/electronic fields;
● Completion of all training as per training matrix;
● Preferred 3 years experience on board short sea vessels;

Competences and expertise/abilities
● Understand basic knowledge of PLC, able to read ladder diagrams;
● Experienced in fault finding.
● Flexible;
● Decisive;
● Good communication and team working skills;
● Results orientated.
